ENGLISH COMEDY IN PARIS / LOUD & WRONG – ANNA AMPATZIANI

November 2@20 h 30 min - 22 h 00 min

A hilarious English Stand-Up Comedy Show that Trump would hate.
A hilarious show about Communication, Capitalism and the other C-Words. No big ideas, just true stories about stupid misunderstandings that lead to avoidable (?) disasters. A very relatable work-in-progress show, current and playfully ironic.
Everyone’s experiences are unique, but this show is meant to bring people together and get them to agree at last on one thing: Trump wouldn’t like it. “VERY VERY UNFUNNY SHOW, I HOPE SMART PEOPLE OF PARIS GET HER CANCELLED. DID YOU SEE MY BALLROOM?”
Born and raised in Greece, Anna always had a special relationship with the live spectacle. She took theater classes as a teenager and later, in her adult life, went to an acting school. When she moved to Paris, she started her own comedy club, and fostered a vibrant community. She travels all over Europe doing comedy next to the big names of English-speaking comedy, while bringing some of them to her own shows. Anna recently appeared on national TV and she is gaining social media traction with her stand-up clips and her on-spot imitations of her Greek mum. Disclaimer: her mum insists she sounds nothing like that.
Doors open at 8PM, show starts at 8:30
Entry to the show is free with the purchase of a drink. Exit is pay-what-you-want.

The show takes place at a 12th-century bar near the Pantheon. The atmosphere is really cool, and you can find a big variety of beers and drinks. The bar stays open after the show, if you wish to have a late drink, and if you’re coming alone, don’t worry, you’ll feel like you are among friends.
