One team is seeking its first national championship. Another is looking for No. 12. Both come to Cleveland led by faces of the game.

No. 1 Iowa and No. 3 Connecticut square off Friday in the Final Four in Cleveland. The Hawkeyes, led by Caitlin Clark, are here for the second consecutive year after losing in last year’s national championship game. Iowa defeated No. 3 LSU in a national championship rematch Monday, with Clark posting 41 points, 12 assists and seven rebounds.

Paige Bueckers and the Huskies have caught fire in the NCAA Tournament, getting back to the Final Four after missing out last season. UConn eliminated No. 1 USC in the Elite Eight. Bueckers is averaging 28 points, nine rebounds and five assists per game in the tourney.
